Madly…

Abortion…

I did not know much about this issue until today…

Some people might want to know why I am talking about such a topic, and you will soon find out…

You may be a little busy… or you may not really know what the fuss is about, you may not even like the topic, but I request your attention, just read on…

There is this particular type of abortion called partial-birth abortion.

Did you know that in this, foetuses are killed, by sticking a scissor into their skull and then opening the scissor, while they are still alive?

I was utterly and completely disgusted and this is pricking my conscience every time I think about it and what I have done to curb this horrible horrible practice. It’s so shameful that we, in this age, are doing something that is so murderous and barbaric.

So this is what really happens:

“A. Guided by ultrasound, the abortionist grabs the baby’s leg with forceps.(This baby is still alive and alert, no anasthesia or drugs are given to the baby.)
B. The baby’s leg is pulled out into the birth canal.
C. The abortionist delivers the baby’s entire body, except for the head.
D. The abortionist jams scissors into the baby’s skull. The scissors are then opened to enlarge the hole.
E. The scissors are removed and a suction tube is inserted. The child’s brains are sucked out, causing the skull to collapse. The remains are then removed.”

I felt so so sick to just imagine what the heart of that child must be going through, Its not even strong enough to breathe for itself, and to bear such horror of pain, in its own mother’s womb…

One can’t even hear it’s cries because it can’t scream with water in its lungs. And it can’t move its unformed muscles. And we can’t see, so we don’t care.

This sounds so bad, but I know it needs to be spoken about. I am not for this whole abortion thing and its simply a crime. GOD would be crying unconsolably at how we make a mockery of His ways, just imagine, that tender heart which does not know anything is subjected to SO SO MUCH Pain. And his life is denied him! And for what?? Some measly excuse for someone who had enough guts to fool around, but not enough to face the result of their actions.

I just happened to read about Mr. Obama’s approval about this and I was totally taken aback when I heard that this was the procedure.

I read about a person’s account of the procedure, i would love it if you read it too!!

Read this poem too…

To the couple in waiting..

I know you can’t hear her,

but she hears your voices,

She loves you to death,

and today she’s got to prove it.

Even though you think,

that she’s not that human,

In this heart that she has,

She’s whispering you her lovin.

I see her lil heart, scream for some dignity,

For justice, for love, and a little mercy,

A right to live, because she is worthy,

chosen by God, and your misled fantasies.

But you deny her, her justice.

You cant hear, so you don’t care,

You cant see, so she’s really not there.

Could you please lend her some mercy,

some time on this earth to be,

So she can walk and talk,

learn to be more like mommy and daddy.

Your special somebody, Somebody so special,

No one just like her, save mommy and daddy.

Our Father above, I know he is crying,

for all your mistakes, the price HE is paying,

LIVE AND LET LIVE, isn’t that worth preaching?

Cause before she knows love,

she must sacrifice,

for someone’s wrong choices,

SHE must pay the price.

And I can see her heart panting, for love that is missing,

For mommy who should provide, is doing the killing,

for mommy who made her wrong choices, is making one again.

Is that what you wanna do?

Is that JUSTICE??

Is that JUSTICE??

That little heart, does it have enough strength?

to beat for itself, to take life’s first steps?

But she will bear that cross, Because you call her a loss.

She must gather within her, a little more strength than yours.

That little heart, does it have enough strength..

Strength enough, to beat for itself?

Did you hear her voice, it sounds just like…

But you would never know now would you??

You couldn’t take that burden now could you??

Is a child just a lump of meat,

Just an outcome of frivolous deeds?

Would ya smile at her in heaven and speak?

An say I love you but you I just couldn’t keep??

I didn’t know how beautiful you are…

But I couldn’t wait to hear your voice…

Is that JUSTICE?? Is that JUSTICE??

Its not we who make ourselves alive,

someone’s burden is really their bundle of joy..

and GOD would just cry His heart away,

for you killed his little princess that day..

Do you know who healed His soul??

Its your little baby who came back too soon.

Life is not ours to take, but it is ours to give,

take time to yourself, reflect on your ways,

and please, please, don’t kill a child who has committed no crime.

The following is an excerpt from( http://www.intellectualconservative.com/2006/02/19/lies-exposed-by-photos-and-videos/)

In 1984, Dr. Bernard N. Nathanson, a former abortionist, revealed through ultra sound the responses of a 12-week-old baby girl abortion while in the womb in his documentary video “The Silent Scream”. It is an unforgettable film segment of torture inflicted on the tiny girl, her mouth forming several “silent screams,” trying her instinctive best to preserve her life and escape the abortionist’s suction and curettage. Her heart rate doubles in her desperate struggle. While she is seen trying to evade the scraping knife, her limbs are dismembered, one by one, and she bleeds to death in the womb. This was not a Partial Birth Abortion, but just a “commonplace” “ordinary” abortion that happens every 17 seconds somewhere in the U.S.

Dr. Nathanson next released another video, “Eclipse of Reason”, documenting the abortion of a five-month-old baby boy as seen through a fetoscope — a camera placed inside the pregnant uterus. Riveting images of a late abortion are then shown with a camera both inside and outside the uterus.

Another film, surprisingly made in Hollywood, exposes the truths of abortion, particularly Partial Birth infanticide. “A Distant Thunder” is a 35-minute docudrama portraying an intense courtroom scene where a nurse assisting at an abortion testifies how the procedure takes place

It’s better to light one candle than to curse the darkness.” And that’s what I’m trying to do, is light one candle. And hopefully from my candle I can light someone else’s candle and they’ll light someone else’s and so on. Because one person can make a difference. And that’s the big thing. Every one of you can make a difference. Whether it’s you telling one person, your neighbor, and they tell one person, we got to, we’ve got to speak the truth out and we’ve got to tell them. ( Brenda Shafer, Nurse).

I’m not asking you to stand in the middle of the street, and let all the people know, but at least you can tell all your friends.

We are the only voices of these children, aren’t we??

GOD is toOo goOoOod!!

Wow!! The past week has been so amazing for me! Going thru sO many ups and downs in my life, And sunday was the highest point of it all!! I got healed baby!!! YAAAH!! I got healed of my throat pain which was there for the past two weeks and it used to hurt everytime I sang, but now im dancin and shoutin for GOD!! Last sunday at church we had Mr. Amos Singh, a very anointed man of GOD from Madhya Pradesh who spoke to us. And he told Diana, a singer in the choir, to pray for healing for us. He asks everyone in the church who had problems to stand up and believe for healing to take place. And so Diana, who has never done such a thing ever before starts to pray for healing and voila!! The pain in my throat which was actually in my voicebox stops… and praises and thanks are just flowing out of my mouth as soon as that happened!!  WoW! GOD is too good maan!! Around 40 people were healed at that moment!! And each of us comes and tells what all they had been healed from!! Asthama, complete healing in the eyes(i’m gonna get that too, i got specs -1.25 !!)…people were waving their spectacles around!!!,  healing in the pancreas, blood in the throat, healing from deafness, healing from rheumatoid arthritis (bone disease), a 7 yr old child had got healed from paralysis and she started to walk about and even run on the stage!!,  and there were so many women who were in tears of thankfulness and some men too!! You should have been there to see tha fire!!  …AND that!! my friends is tha GloRy oF GOD!!

But you should know… Although the pain went, there was still some itching in my throat… I said to myself, “GOD has not taken away the pain to leave me itching for a complete healing!!”… But I must say I was irritated as to why that itch was still there! Then I remembered, Mr. Amos stating from one of his experiences, said, “We waited for 2 an a half hours for the rain to start for conducting a meeting, But it did not stop! …So I was asked if I wanted to go back home!!, I got ruffled and So I said to GOD, “GOD!!! I’m giving you 7 minutes to stop the rain, if not… then you betta watchout!!”; So we prayed for the rain to stop… and after 5 minutes, the rain became a little bit thinner! So for the remaining two minutes, we started to thank GOD and when we went out of the shelter to see the weather, the clouds had cleared the place and there was a big huge gap of sky in the place!!”         – WOW!! So I realized, that I had not fully thanked GOD that much, and I began to do just that and ya know what!! In two minutes, that itch stopped!! Yes that itch stopped!!….

So thats what happened on wednesday night!  And this story would have been monday’s write-up, but as I just finished writing the first paragraph, the itch was still there and I thought, “I will wait for a complete healing”, so I stopped writing it then and left it, and that’s why this is thursday’s post!!

That is what I read on the rickshaw driver’s seat… I didn’t really understand it when I read it at first cause it was in Marathi, so I asked the guy what it meant and he didn’t know Marathi!! I guess it was probably stuck over there by some social organization. But as I read it again, the little light in my head started glowing and I went Oh wow!!, so like that’s what it means!!

That’s really so true I must say, especially after my visit to the National Association for The Blind(NAB), at Worli. What was I doing there, you ask?? *A big fat grin on my face* I happened to have been chosen along with my friend, to initiate talks with the NAB for the newly built Edu-vision centre of my college, Nagindas Khandwala. (a.k.a N.L. College!!), Malad. Edu-Vision happens to be the only visually-challenged education centre in the suburbs, and among the only four in the whole city. So, our college has a brand new centre, all the infrastructure and computers but no skilled trainers. So they needed some more guidance from the people at NAB to really kickstart the whole thing and get it running smoothly.

So they select my friend, Devang Thakar who also happens to be my ex-classmate and colleague as the head of operations for Edu-Vision and moi as temporary team member until I leave my lecturer’s post ( its temporary cause my MCA studies timings clash big time! (not cause i am incompetent!!) ).

So we gotta go and get things rolling, and basically initiate communication as to what we need to finally start the centre…And off we go on a b-e-a-u-tiful rainy morning as official ambassadors of N.K. College!!(whew! that title seems so unecessary, but itza supa-cool!!). After a couple of wrong turns and ending up in the wrong places, we finally arrive at this place.

So, we go to the Head Office and ask to meet the director of the center for an audience with him, and the office staff treat us so courteously upon looking at our faces!(smiles work wonders I tell ya!). They tell us to wait a while cause its lunch time an all, so we go to the canteen.

Over there we see a completely blind lady have her food, and then after finishing, she gets up with the plate in hand, going towards the basin, I get up to escort her to the tap so that she can wash her hands and to my surprise she starts feeling for a scrubber and starts to wash her plate as well!! She first kept the leftovers aside so the basin doesn’t choke up!!(I fail to do that at home sometimes!!) and she did not find the scrubber so she proceeds to wash her plate by hand anyway and wipes her mouth, pats herself dry and goes to the counter to pay the bill!! And I look at the plate she left there and there was not a trace of even a small smudge!!!

When you look at such people, you kinda feel odd cause they can’t look back at you.. Im wondering if she felt insecure that somebody could be staring at her. Things that she knew could happen sometime and she wouldn’t know.

So, lunch over, its time ta meet tha boss!!

In we go to the director’s cabin, and I am greeted by a Mr. Raman Shankar, man who looked at us in such a way that we both had no clue whatsoever that he had partial vision! Only when we saw him dial a phone number by bringing it very close to his cheek to see the number it kinda dawned on us both!!

WOW!!! The man running the place had partial vision!! Its not a small organization I tell you! It prints study material for the whole of India! On audio tapes,Cd’s and the kewlest language, Braille!! *Ya know, its the most meaningful language that was ever made!! ya know why? cause you can really *feel* each word !!*

Jokes aside. Tha man runs a huge place, no questions!! He shocks us again when he tells us that his brother, Mr. Ram Krishna, is tha General Manager of IDBI Bank, not a branch manager, but the head honcho of like a whole area!! And that dewd finished his Masters in Management Studies in ’85.

Mr. Raman Shankar then offers to take us for a tour of the whole place, and begins to show us the recording studio where literature in text is converted to audio by people from different fields: RJ’s, various artistes and news readers, etc. 3 recording studios are simultaneously used to record and master audio tapes, and Cd’s for 18 hours everyday!! And we have tape-to-CD convertors and  A CD mastering room,(Im oogling at the equpiment!!)

He takes us to the library and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it 1,50,000 tapes!! Now Thats A Library! Ok!! we now go to the next section quickly and Mr. Raman Shankar is totally going for it!! He is movin like a normal person, tackling the stairways faster than us,  and we follow his lead with some effort!

We go to a Call-Center inside the place, with about 20 visually challenged people working together as a team to market a product!! They make out-going calls to sell phone connections!!      Heavens!! I’m neva gonna talk rudely to any salesperson who calls me askin to buy a product!! I met a believa workin there, his name is Mr. Chandrakant, I’m believin GOD for a major breakthrough in his life!! The whole place would be changed!! Ok!!, a bell ringeth, their tea-time break is over so we move to the Computer section!!

Enter the comp lab!! Training is provided to students on how to use the computer using software that speaks out what is on the screen!! These students are like 6-25 years old and from all over India. We speak to a Mr. Dabholkar who is the trainer, himself fully visually-impaired due to an accident since i think 12 years. By this time I’m really falling in love with the courtesy and warmth that I received from Mr. Dabholkar and the other people whom we met. Felt like church in a way!!

And then we go to the cyber cafe(hmmph i m getting tired writin 4 so long), which is the last place we see that day.. We are greeted by Mr. Satej, 25-ish guy, partially blind and in-charge of the cyber-cafe! Wow! I imagine myself being an IT student an all, knowin a little bit how to handle a cyber cafe!! It’s not that easy!! But see GOD’s grace!! To the weak, whom GOD gives wisdom and strength, and makes them able, to do what the strong would find hard to do!!

And this takes the cake!! We meet two visually- impaired guys, both 25-ish,earlier in the morning at dadar station and we think they are going to same place, so we offer these guys to accompany us but they politely decline! And then we see these same two guys at the cybercafe at the NAB!! One guy’s name is Deepak and the other is Keval. And both are completely visually-impaired!!

And Keval has a typing speed of 45 words per min!! (mine is like 37 (checked just now!)) and he has to be deadly accurate!! And he surf’s the web like me!!! I asked him to show me his surfing skills and he asked me what I would like him to do!! And I said, “Google the term, ‘barbarian’”. So off he goes!! first he types the web address, but the page does not open, webpage not found error!! But he simply goes ahead and presses the F5 key, and voila! the homepage is there! right at this moment im realizing the amount of practice and concentration required to do this because he has no idea whatsoever what is displayed on the screen!! They work with this software which reads out whatever there is on the screen, even on websites. And that is how he worked.. So this dude enters the word and the search page opens, then he proceeds to make the software read out each detail of the items in the results and then finally decides that the first link is the one most suiting his requirement and he then goes to that page!!! No mouse mind you! All is via the keyboard!

I marvel at this feat until they offer to show me a video that they made.. And then I read the starting credits of the film and I see both their names,     Mr. Keval– Producer, and Mr. Deepak, Director! of UDAAN ENTERTAINMENT GROUP!! Comprising of 40 artistes, mostly visually-impaired!! They have done about 90 shows in the last two years nationwide!!

And I ask him a bit shocked, how do you manage the marketing???? He replies,

- “Well we try to meet atleast one new person a day and tell him what we can offer. Initially it was quite hard to get any sponsors, because many people usually look at us and judge us before we speak. But then now we have a good network going on.. college principals and philanthrophists among others…The main aim is to provide a sustainable means of income and also prove to the world that we are no less than them.”

Those were his words… his diction, perfect. His speech: charming, polite, composed and confident. And I asked him some questions, “Do you all stay close by? -No. We are spread out all over mumbai.    Where do you practice? – Ville parle.   You must find it hard to come together for band practice since the mumbai trains are hectic..”  He said, “We cant let such a thing deter us, we are aiming to go global soon…”

And then, (as if GOD threw a pebble upon my head) it struck me!, I realized… MY VISION LIMITS ME!!

Wow! I was really blessed that day to share some precious moments with such people..

So, then we exchanged our goodbyes and made our way to the director’s cabin to say our thanks to him.           I could’nt help but just hug him!!!  He was so so kind to us!! for the first time in my life I felt as if I was treated like a VIP!  That man took out abt 45 min from his busy schedule to play host to two 22 year olds who came to ask for help and guidance!!   And I came back home that day with much more than what I had left with…

I realize that though they’re impaired, that impairment makes them stronger and more determined. It’s only that  what takes one step for us to complete, they have to do it in two… that’s about all the difference there is…

O ya an I finish with one last thing…

Their weakness is their greatest strength!!  -Aankhen, the film

Faith destroyer!!

Those little thieves in your head can really destroy your faith; and they do it so much like a magic trick that at the end you are left totally unaware of what even happened!!

I was surprised at the slick move that the devil plays, and now that I know, that little pipsqueak will not be given a chance!

Well…*I’m wondering if what I did was right* I wrote it as a story and I think you would enjoy it if you read it slowly…

The characters in the story:

Place:  Johnson’s mind

Cast:

Mother – the Heart

Father – the Mind

Child – A newborn hope or wish

Thieves – Our doubts OR people who discourage our hopes.

It was a busy street, and lots of thoughts made their way in and out of the main city square, the hotspot of the mind. Among them were some of the happy thoughts of a newborn hope which had had just arrived. And just as with any hope, it needed to be fed well with faith to it to keep it alive and growing so, the mind was busy drawing plans and preparing the food so important for the newborn hope to survive and grow…

It involved the job of hearing the WORD of GOD; praying about it and believing that GOD would provide for it; that it would come true and making plans for it, and implementing those plans!

And so, Father Mind and Mother Heart both went to their daily task of gathering the essential daily food for their little baby hope…

But the evil thief and baby-killer was hiding close by and was watching every move that the two were making to provide the faith for the little baby. And he waited for the just the right time to either snatch the baby and run, or cunningly steal the all-important food little by little so that the baby would starve to death! But his tricks are old and well documented in the all-time best-seller ‘The Holy Bible’. An entry in it clearly declares, “The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy!”

So just as the two proud parents, the heart and mind went about getting engrossed and occupied with the daily tasks of life; the thief waited for the right opportune time- when the mind and heart are crowded with thoughts!

So, as they were washing their clothes, the thief came in and disguised himself to be a part of the neighbourhood (just another thought in the mind) and he posed as an innocent looking thought and very casually asked…

“Are you fully sure that your hope will come true??”

Mother Heart replied without even blinking, — “Yes.”

Father Mind, thought on what was said, and after he applied his logic, replied, “Well, something wrong can also happen, there is a chance, that failure can …”

And just as he was saying that! The thief had quietly snatched that immensely precious faith unnoticed!! And he tried to make his escape back into the same crowd of thoughts that he came in.

BUT THIS TIME, the Spirit knew this fully well and alerted both of them immediately.

This is what The Spirit told them:

What is faith? –It’s the being sure of hope. -Heb 11:1 (NCV)

So my dear, what does Satan need to do to rob your faith in broad daylight?

He needs to make you unsure, unsure of your hopes, your calling and GOD-given purpose in life, your dreams and ambitions. The moment that the mind acknowledges that there is a possibility of failure, it becomes unsure of the promises of GOD. And that destroys your faith!!!

And they realized that the precious little food of faith that they had worked for was missing!!! And this realization opened their eyes and they snatched back that faith from the thief’s hands and drove him away. And so… their little baby hope was strengthened that day and grew a little stronger and the shine on his little face became brighter that day.

THE END

Is that a nice story? Pls do send your comments.

Even a simple question like “How will this happen?” that you might ask yourself pretty often can make you stumble in your faith.

Be sure. Be sure. Be sure.

-In HIS luv…      JC

Yeaah!! That’s right! That’s the kind of Faith that we need today! …The faith that will not compromise for a lesser gift from GOD. Faith that will not FAIL! That will never give up!

Well, I was talking with my friend as I was just climbing some stairs. And I realized that as I was climbing them they were so similar to this race of Faith!

If I say, “No, I’m just too tired of climbing these stairs.” And I go back!

Then what have I gained??

Ans. Nothing. In fact, I have even lost the time and effort to get so far.

And so, it is an experience worth very less. One that is not good enough to be counted as a ‘learning’ experience.

But if I go all the way??

Ans. I have gained everything I had hoped for. And I have learnt enough to crack the next similar challenge when it comes. (If I pray for healing and it happens. Then I will definitely believe for similar miracles to happen the next time.)

But… If I ‘chose’ not to go the whole way, not believe all the way?

Then I don’t reach my destination (top of the staircaseJ). I do not get my miracle from GOD. I have wasted all my efforts reaching so far. And plus I have to come down the stairs again! And backtrack, and think why is GOD unfair? Why did I not get my miracle? Why me? why? why? why!!

… And what I’m really doing then is ‘whining’ and wasting some more of life’s precious time over something I do not need to waste.

Ya know?? Because I have not gone all the way, I don’t have all the knowledge I need to crack the next similar challenge, so when an opportunity comes to me to pray for healing all I do is go around the same small mountain again, instead of going ahead!

So…. The bottom-line is: Are you believing God for something? Then believe all the way, don’t doubt, don’t stop, don’t look at others. Don’t compromise for a lesser thing and don’t go back, fight the good fight of faith and overcome the stupid little doubts that come to take away your hopes and dreams. Come on!! God cannot and will not let you down. HE is GOD!! Would He want a child of HIS to lose faith in HIM?? No way!!!

So believe.

But if it’s not HIS will, then HE’S got something better.

You know! the love of GOD hits you HARD when you just learn to do things HIS way. And it iz so so guud you cant stop but yearn for more and more!! Coz HE is a grreat an awesome GOD!!

An Ya Im satisfied. Satisfied because today HE used me ta speak abt HIM to a rickshaw driver, and ma believer neighbour. So im happy, coz I did HIS WILL, not mine. An ma love, ma GOD is my cuddling pillow, my soft shweet pillow cushion on whom I can cast all the worries I have in my heart and rest and trust. Amen.

Fallin in Love..

 This really touched my heart.

Girl asked a
guy if he
thought she was
pretty,
He said…no.

She asked him if
he would want
to be with her
for life…

and he said no.

She then asked him if she were to leave would he cry, and once again he replied with a no.

She had heard enough.

As she walked away, tears streaming down her face the boy stopped her and said..

You’re not pretty you’re beautiful.

I don’t want to be with you for life, I NEED to be with you for life.

And I wouldn’t cry if you walked away…I’d die…

Love

Part I:

God is there with You every morning when You wake up, when Your brushing your teeth, squeezing your pimples, combing Your hair, HE is waiting to talk with You, to grow with You , to feed You more.. That is the daily journey with Christ.          –Nick Vujicic

What is the most important task or duty of a mother?

… It’s to ‘feed’ her baby.  To make sure that her baby has at least something in her tummy.

Every time her baby cries, the first thing on her mind is to provide food.

How much more, how much more the desire in our Heavenly father’s heart to feed us, to give us our daily nourishment when we are hungry for it…

Just stop for a moment, and think about it…

If you are hungry, will HE not feed you??

HOW can HE NOT feed us?? Will HE just wait and watch us, until our cry for GOD’s blessings, revelation or  a deeper relationship with HIM die out until our faith in HIM fades away??

And with good things, not dry morsels of stale food HE will feed us… He will fill us with RICH things, things the world can never give us… Heartfelt LOVE, true LOVE, LOVE that will not fade away with time, LOVE that will not say, “I’m bored of this relationship.”, RICH LOVE, real LOVE, that makes HIM give HIMSELF to you completely and not expect back, LOVE that sacrifices all that it has for your sake, LOVE that wants to take care of You like a little baby wrapped in clothing–”He surrounds us with HIS unfailing love. Ps 32:10”, LOVE that is unfailing, He will never ever ever let You go. Even if the world comes to an end, He WILL NOT LET YOU GO. That is not what HE made You for, to just leave you to mind about your own business in life, NO. –“He has plans for You. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.  Jer 29:11” Did you know that GOD has dreams for You, for you to be somebody GREAT in life; that one day you would be a mature, beautiful person, worthy of love and respect, touching HIS heart every time HE sees You, that GOD would feel in HIS Heart, “This is my child, my ‘precious’ creation, my little princess, my little prince… who has grown up to be a woman/man after my own Heart. He/She is MY Child.”

There is no one else like you, ever, that HE can be satisfied with anybody else.  For HIM you are HIS only child, his everything, if HE loses You even for a single day HE will cry. He will look out for you, because You are his precious child. He cannot exchange You for anything else in the whole world, because you are his precious.

Hello world!

I start this blog in the name of the FATHER, SON-YESHUAH and the HOLY SPIRIT. Amen.

The main reason I have started this blog is because I believe that JESUS may speak to someone who needs HIM through my experiences. And plus, I just wanted to write down all my feelings and make a book out of it for like 9 years now!
